These terms are a contract between you and Datalogic Consultants Limited, a company registered in Cyprus (“Hangar”, “we”, “us”) covering the Hangar iOS app and this website. By creating an account or using Hangar you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Hangar.
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract. If you use Hangar for a business, you confirm you’re authorised to accept these terms for it.
You sign in with Apple; keep your Apple ID secure, as anyone with it can access your Hangar account. Your inventory lives in a workspace. You can invite others with an invite code; everyone who joins can see and edit everything in that workspace. You are responsible for who you share the code with and for what members do in the workspace. If you delete your account while others remain, the workspace and its contents stay with them.
Hangar requires a paid plan. Every plan includes every feature; plans differ only in how many items can be in stock at once and how many people can share the workspace:
“In stock” means items that are drafts, listed, reserved, or sold but not yet shipped. Shipped and archived items don’t count. Each plan starts with a 14-day free trial, available once per Apple ID. If you reach your limit, nothing is deleted or locked; you just can’t add new items until something ships or you move up a plan. The same applies if your subscription lapses: your data stays, reads and sync keep working, and adding items is paused until you resubscribe.
Subscriptions are sold by Apple through the App Store as auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you don’t cancel first. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel in your App Store account settings; cancelling stops future charges but doesn’t refund the current period. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms, not by us. Prices are shown in the app and may vary by country; we’ll give you notice before changing the price of a plan you’re on. The subscription belongs to the workspace: the person who created the workspace subscribes, and invited members use it without paying.
Your items, photos, notes and data remain yours. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, process, display and transmit them only as needed to run Hangar, including syncing to your workspace members, generating AI suggestions when you ask, and sending listings to eBay when you ask. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload, for the accuracy of what you list, and for complying with the law and each marketplace’s rules.
Photo auto-fill and “Describe it” generate suggested listing details using third-party AI models. Suggestions can be wrong: check titles, conditions, sizes, prices and descriptions before you save or publish; you are responsible for what you list. AI runs are limited per item under a fair-use cap and may be temporarily unavailable if our usage limits are reached. We may change models or providers.
Hangar is independent of, and not affiliated with, Vinted, Depop or eBay. Importing from Vinted or Depop reads the public page of a listing you link; exporting copies your listing text so you can paste it into their apps. When you connect eBay, listings are published through eBay’s API into your own eBay account, under your eBay agreement and eBay’s fees; you can disconnect in Hangar or revoke access in your eBay settings at any time. Hangar can read your active eBay listings to import them, publish new listings, and end a listing when you ask; it doesn’t edit listings once they’re live, so make changes on eBay. Marketplaces change, and we can’t guarantee any integration will keep working.
Don’t use Hangar for anything unlawful, don’t list items you aren’t allowed to sell, don’t try to access other people’s workspaces or data, don’t probe, overload, reverse-engineer or scrape the service, don’t resell or share access, and don’t use the import tools on listings that aren’t yours.
We work hard to keep Hangar up and your data synced, but it’s provided “as is” and “as available”. We may put the service into maintenance mode, pause new sign-ups, switch individual features (such as imports, eBay publishing or AI) off temporarily, require an app update to continue, and change or retire features as the product evolves. Keep your own records of anything important; Hangar is not an accounting system or a backup service.
You can stop using Hangar any time and delete your account in the app (More → Delete account); deletion is immediate and can’t be undone. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with notice where reasonable; a closed account is suspended immediately and its data deleted after 30 days. Sections about your content, liability and law survive termination.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost sales, lost listings, or loss of data beyond our reasonable control), and our total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid for Hangar in the 12 months before the claim. Hangar doesn’t guarantee sales, marketplace outcomes, or the accuracy of AI suggestions.
The app is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies to your use of the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and disputes go to its courts, though as a consumer you keep any protection your local law gives you and the right to use your local courts. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we change these terms materially we’ll update the date above and tell you in the app before the change takes effect; continuing to use Hangar after that means you accept the new terms.
