Hangar gives every item a six-character code (stick it on the mailer bag or scribble it on). When something sells, one scan points at the exact bag, box or shelf it lives in.
Each item gets a short SKU like K7F3QM. Print it as a QR sticker if you like labels, or write it on the bag with a sharpie. The scanner reads both.
Boxes inside wardrobes, bags inside boxes, a rail in the spare room. Hangar mirrors however you actually store things, and remembers which item went where.
Without a scanner, search by title, brand or SKU. Hangar shows the item with its full location trail (Box A › Bag 4) before the buyer has finished paying.

Scan the item and tap its new container. Reorganising a whole box takes a few seconds per item, and the location trail updates for everyone in your workspace.
Yes. Hangar is offline-first: every change queues on your phone and syncs when you are back on wifi, so a signal-free storage room is no problem.
